F. Liszt (transcr. N. Szederkenyi): Étude de Concert S. 144, No. 3 “Un Sospiro” – ISMN 9790700432133

The beautiful romantic music of Franz Liszt has always been a hit on programs of pianists. As Liszt him self transcribed many works of other composers, there are also several transcriptions of his works by others like this concert etude, perhaps most well known by H. Renié for solo harp.
In this transcription we gave the beautiful melody line for the violin to complement the harp, making a prefect combination of the two instruments.

Written by Hungarian violin virtuoso Nandor Szederkenyi, former concertmaster in several major orchestras from Japan to Austria, who also had a long career as soloist.

Published using the leading notation software Finale, he includes bowings and fingerings, in collaboration with his duo partner/daughter who took care of the pedal markings of the harp part.
