After publishing one of Ysaÿe’s early violin concertos, we are presenting these wonderful violin pieces for any violinists who love and play Ysaÿe’s music. The last (and first) published versions are quite outdated, therefore here we made necessary changes of misprints and corrected some obvious mistakes. The fingerings and bowings are also revised, keeping Ysaÿe’s traditional style but changing some of the exaggerated use of old fashioned shifting technique.
As we are encouraging our musician friends to enjoy chamber music playing in the combination of violin with harp, this is a harp version with all the pedals and enharmonics included!
The notation has been done with the professional application Finale, facilitating the reading of this often very complex music.
