Clair de Lune
Perhaps one of the most often transcribed pieces ever…, this time for violin and harp.
Just like the many other transcriptions of this lovely music, it is pretty much exactly the same as the original, with the harp part specifically prepared with pedal markings and written for harp. The music has been kept in the original key.
La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin
One of the most well known Préludes by Debussy, this is a direct transcription of the original music, in original key, G flat major, with its special colour, making the harpist happy with the many flats. Simply beautiful!
Minstrels
A very charming Prélude by Debussy. As it is even a bit “jazzy”, lots of fun for the performers and audience equally.
Written by Hungarian violin virtuoso Nandor Szederkenyi, former concertmaster in several major orchestras from Japan to Austria, who also had a long career as soloist.
Published using the leading notation software Finale, he includes bowings and fingerings, in collaboration with his duo partner/daughter who took care of the pedal markings of the harp part.
