One of the most beautiful music ever written: Méditation Religieuse from the opera Thaïs by Jules Massenet. This is perhaps the only recognised work by him, well known to all music lovers. Played by all kinds of instruments and settings, this version is for violin with harp, edited specifically for the harp, of course with pedal markings. The violin part is as it is usually when played with piano or orchestra, with bowings and fingerings marked.
This violin & harp version is written by Hungarian violin virtuoso Nandor Szederkenyi, former concertmaster in several major orchestras from Japan to Austria, who also had a long career as soloist.
