Prof. PhD Mag. Werner Hackl is the artistic director of the Original Kaiserjaeger. Studied at Univesity of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and at the Pedagogical Academy in Vienna. In his doctoral thesis he researched the Music in Vienna from Monarchy to Austrian entry to Europe Union. Extensive experience in the field of brass music through service in Austrians Military Music at Vienna Guard Battalion. Professional musician as Trombonist in the Lower Austrian Tonkuenstler Orchestra and leader of the wind ensemble there. President of the Austrian Society for Contemporary Music. Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and leader of the brass ensemble. Lecturer at seminars and summer courses, conductor of the ArtistsOrchestraVienna (KuenstlerOrchesterWien) and director of the ArtistsEnsembleVienna (KünstlerEnsembleWien). As artistic vice president of World Orchestra Festivals Vienna he presents the élites of music in the Golden Hall of Musikverein. For his outstanding acting in music Prof. Hackl had been honored by the president of Austria.
